  • The cement plant near Gorman is appealing the federal cancellation of a $500M subsidy for its carbon-neutral project, the plant’s director said on Wednesday — the move may help restore crucial funding for its operations.  The Bakersfield Californian
  • Covenant Coffee, known for its yearly Harry Potter-themed drinks, received a cease + desist letter from Warner Bros this year and is now asking for permission while reviewing what can be used in its display.
