- ➤ A 53-year-old Bakersfield man named Steven Paul Garcia was charged on August 26 when officers in Fresno County stopped him and found 22 pounds of methamphetamine in his vehicle as part of Operation Take Back America — carried out by the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office, Bakersfield Police, and DEA.
