- ➤ Officers responded to a call at 6:45 p.m. Aug. 22 on the 1800 block of Lacey St. in south Bakersfield when they found a man with visible trauma; despite CPR and medical aid, he was pronounced dead after video footage showed him walking about 40 minutes earlier. Bakersfield Now
