  • A woman died after being struck by a car while riding her bicycle in Oildale on June 15th at 11:38 p.m.—the driver of a 2013 Chevrolet Impala stayed at the scene as investigators noted the area had no streetlights and her bicycle lacked proper lighting.  KGET
  • California now enforces a strict 'No Touch' phone law that bans drivers from using their phones to prevent accidents, and the California Highway Patrol in Fort Tejon Area did a 24-hour enforcement on June 7 that led to 266 citations.
