- ➤ Families marched on Saturday in East Bakersfield as part of the Mothers Against Gang Violence 500 Women March, moving from East Belle Terrace to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park to stand against gang violence—founder Xenia King said the event aims to protect youth.
