- ➤ Honor Flight Kern County sent more than 100 veterans (including Korean War and Vietnam War veterans) from Meadows Field to Washington, D.C. this morning on a charter flight. They will visit national memorials all day tomorrow and return to Bakersfield around 6:30 p.m., with the public invited to welcome them home. 23ABC News
