- ➤ U.S. Marshals are offering a $35K reward for information on inmate Cesar Hernandez—who escaped custody on December 2, was found in Mexico four months later, and was involved in a shootout on April 9 in southern Tijuana where 33-year-old agent Abigail Esparza Reyes died—. KGET

- ➤ Bakersfield Police asked the public for help finding 10-year-old Nayelie Lopez who went missing April 11 around 8:00 p.m. in the 400 block of 17th Street—she is considered at risk due to her age and was last seen wearing a turquoise shirt and black pants. KGET
- ➤ On Monday, Bakersfield police and code enforcement evicted all tenants from La Mirage Motel—forcing 10–15 residents, including a pregnant woman and a manager, to leave after inspectors found no hot water, exposed electrical hazards, broken smoke detectors and vermin—and made four arrests for outstanding warrants and resisting arrest, and the motel may reopen if the owner fixes the violations.
