ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A rolled over semi truck trailer blocked the transition road along eastbound Highway 58 near the H Street and Chester Avenue exit yesterday morning, slowing traffic after a collision involving two other vehicles was reported at about 9:30 a.m. (California Highway Patrol). KGET

- ➤ Bakersfield police will set up a DUI checkpoint today from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. at an undisclosed location chosen based on crash statistics and DUI arrest rates—drunken driving crashes have killed 26 people and injured 682 over the past three years. KGET
- ➤ Bakersfield police are asking the community for help in finding 14-year-old Jude Ornelas, who was last seen on April 9th at about 7 p.m. on the 1800 block of Forrest Street near H Street—he is described as Hispanic, 5 ft 11 in tall, and 245 lbs with black hair and hazel eyes. Bakersfield Now
