  • A new report shows that many American workers face retirement with very little saved; the median saving for all workers is only $955 while those with retirement accounts average around $40,000. Experts say workers should start saving early to help secure their future.  23ABC News

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • A powerful winter storm will hit the South Valley, deserts and mountain towns on Feb. 26, 2026, bringing strong winds up to 60 mph and rain. A deeper system is forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday to lower snow levels to 4,000–5,000 feet, which may lead to road slowdowns in the region.  Bakersfield Now
