- ➤ Caltrans announced a three-week lane closure on Weedpatch Highway near Lamont, where the northbound lane will be closed 24/7 starting Thursday, Feb. 12 to support ADA improvements while keeping driveways open for business access. Bakersfield Now
- ➤ On Friday, Feb. 6, Caltrans announced that the northbound lane on State Route 204 at the Kern River overcrossing will be closed for three months for bridge rail replacement operations — drivers are reminded to slow for the Cone Zone. Bakersfield Now
